The mission of the Ministry of Care is to serve the suffering and homebound of the parish with compassion and prayer by bringing them
Holy Communion. Members spend an hour per week bringing Holy Communion to the homebound, nursing homes or adult day care centers,
bringing the homebound to church and/or doctor's appointments, sending birthday cards to to the homebound, sending bereavement
cards one year after the death of a loved one. Volunteer mileage used during ministry service is a charitable deduction on income
taxes.
